Devilish Differences is about a man who experiences hallucinations after taking marijuana. The game was made for Game Jam 6.

Instructions and scoring

The object of the game is to find five differences between two pictures in each of the five levels. You start each level with 999 points, which decreases over time. Correctly identifying a difference gives you one point, while clicking the wrong spot costs ten. You can use the hint button to reveal the next difference without penalty (although one might argue that this makes the game too easy). Your cumulative score is tallied at the end of every level.

Differences

The differences (compared to the left picture) are listed below:

Level 1

1. Chandelier column has lighter color
2. Eye on chandelier arm is closed
3. Talon is added to claw
4. Stripe on railing is missing
5. Pants are different

Level 2

1. Time on clock is different
2. Glare on hat is removed
3. Bow tie is missing
4. Scale is added to bottom-right monster
5. Leg marking on bottom-right monster is removed

Level 3

1. Swastikas are missing
2. Sign has text on it
3. Screw is missing on center panel
4. Sleeve button is missing
5. Shirt pocket is added

Level 4

1. Tile in top-left corner is darker
2. Eyes are added to bookshelf
3. Spot on man's face is removed
4. Carcass on table is different
5. Tentacle is added to monster under table

Level 5

1. Face at top of screen has different color
2. Bump is added to monster's head
3 and 4. Stems are added to man-eating plant (counts as two differences)
5. Man is now wearing hat

Devilish Differences has seven medals with a total of 125 points. All of them are fairly straightforward:
